It All Started With A Workbench

Donora Works was born from a simple idea: to create with my hands what I used to only imagine behind a camera. After years producing commercials at the highest level, I found myself craving something more tangible. Woodworking became a creative outlet—a way to disconnect, slow down, and make something real.
What began as a personal project in my garage on Donora Avenue quickly grew into something more: a passion for building unique, handcrafted pieces that reflect the individuality of the people who use them.
I’ve always been drawn to garages and workshop spaces—places where tools live, ideas get tested, and personal history gets built one project at a time. Growing up in Torrance, my dad and I spent countless hours in the garage, including building the workbench that’s still standing today. That early connection to hands-on problem solving and thoughtful design still shapes the way I work.
Now, through Donora Works, my mission is to bring that same care and character to others in the South Bay. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind furniture piece or a fully custom space designed around your hobby or hustle, everything I build starts with a conversation and ends with something truly yours.
